The FK12-KIT fan kit is designed to fit a number of fireplaces, including many models from Monessen. The blower kit includes all of the components you'll need to successfully install a blower into your fireplace for the first time. The FK12 is a free standing blower that mounts universally with the supplied Velcro strips and mounting magnet.
The FK12-kit is a constant speed blower kit. It DOES NOT include a rheostat or thermostat. Because of this, the FK12-kit must be used with a designated wall switch installed for the blower (electrical outlet below fireplace). If a wall switch is not present, a fan kit with a thermostatic option is required.
