The FK24 fan kit is designed to fit a number of fireplaces, including numerous models from Monessen, Vermont Castings, Majestic, Northern Flame, CFM and more. The blower kit includes all of the components you'll need to successfully install the blower into your fireplace for the first time. The FK24 is a bracket mounted blower that mounts onto two threaded studs located at the rear of the fireplace. These studs are spaced approximately 14" apart and are typically included with your fireplace when installed.
The FK24 blower kit includes a variable speed rheostat and magnetically mounted thermostat. Because a thermostat is used in the FK24 kit, the kit does not require a designated wall switch and will turn on and off automatically at the preset temperatures of the thermostat. We also use galvanized mounting brackets to prevent rusting that occurs on cheaper blower kits.
