The DIY Kit Duo is a “do it yourself” kit that provides the unique components a mason needs to build an Italian hearth-style brick oven designed for residential use. Build the oven on top of a prepared foundation and finish the facade with any non-combustible materials of your choosing. The oven hearth is designed & manufactured in Modena, Italy as a solid, single-piece refractory door diameter measuring 35.4”, with a refractory opening that allows access to the hearth at 21.6” wide by 8.3” tall while the DIY Kit Quattro is measuring 43.3”, with a refractory opening that allows access to the hearth at 21.6” wide by 8.3” tall. Wood fuel is combusted directly within the hearth which maximizes energy efficiency and power.

The oven hearth is designed to be a solid, single-piece refractory floor providing an even distribution of heat across the baking surface, preventing hot and cold spots.
This oven gives you all the advantages of a professional pizzaiolo working with a premier oven.

Ventilation material is not included. The oven shall be directly connected to a UL 103 HT listed chimney or equivalent standard per NFPA 211 & local codes. The chimney must terminate to a chimney cap with a UL-listed spark arrester. Installation requirements may vary depending upon the desired chimney run.

Top: 14” (356 mm)
Back & Sides: 1” (25 mm)
Non-combustible flooring must extend out at least 36” (914 mm) from the oven opening and at least 30” (762 mm) to each side of the opening. Do not fill the required air space with insulation or other materials.
