Works just like the 3 year old remote I had to replace. Hopefully this lasts longer than 3 years.
We purchased this as a replacement for a remote that was lost and it has been working better than the previous remote! It takes some time to set up but works well!
This Majestic RC400 Intellifire remote replaced the old remote that was with the house we recently moved into. It appears to be identical to the old one but worked right away & I can access all the features. I don't know how old the other remote was or if the previous owners had any issues with it. Time will tell the longevity or durability of this remote.
This is a replacement for a misplaced fireplace remote. It paired easily with our fireplace and works flawlessly.
Now able to enjoy our fireplace without leaving the sofa. Simple to setup. Controls temperature, fire height and blower fan speed.
Very nice remote and it's user friendly if you get the manuals. I read up on it quite a bit before my purchase. I did everything myself. For the battery life issues, this remote is constantly on.... even when the screen is off, all you have to do is touch it for it to activate. This means constant battery usage... even worse if you're using the thermostat feature. My easy fix.... when not in use, I just take one battery out. Problem solved.... battery life just like a regular remote. When you put the one battery back in, it remembers all of your previous settings.
Nice remote. I just wish it did not have a loud beeping noise with every command.
Simple to install and set up. having the remote with the fireplace makes operating it a easy task.
