About Buck Stove

Buck Stove was born during the national energy crisis in the 1970s. When approached by Asheville inventor Carroll Buckner with his new three-speed wood-burning stove idea, Robert Bailey and Alvin Barrier decided to manufacture them and turned their supply shop into a factory.

The stoves proved to be popular, and the company has been thriving ever since. They are made in the USA at their Facility in Spruce Pine, North Carolina.

We have now bought 3 Buck Stoves and have always been satisfied. They are a bit expensive but we feel they are worth it. We love being able to keep the entire house warm on just a few logs of wood and I can't even imagine not having one...everyone who comes to visit us is in love with these stoves!

I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with the Buck Stove Model 21. It's been a few weeks since I got it, and I am still using it every day. It burns wood really low and slow once you get a good fire cooking in it, which is always fun to watch and learn from. The build quality of this stove is also excellent, and the craftsmanship is top-notch.

I am very satisfied with my purchase of the Buck Stove Model 21 Wood burning Stove. The insert was as good as described. It is easy to install and I am enjoying the new warmth it has brought to my home. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a high-quality stove insert.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Buck Stove Model 21 Non-Catalytic Wood Stove do?
The Buck Stove Model 21 Non-Catalytic Wood Stove is a fan assembly that circulates warm air from your Buck Stove gas fireplace into the room. It significantly increases the heating efficiency by pushing heat outward instead of letting it rise straight up.
Is the Buck Stove Model 21 Non-Catalytic Wood Stove compatible with my fireplace?
This blower is designed for use with specific Buck Stove fireplace models. Check your owner manual for the recommended blower kit part number, or provide us with your fireplace model for compatibility confirmation.
How do I install the Buck Stove Model 21 Non-Catalytic Wood Stove?
Most blower kits mount in the lower compartment of the fireplace and plug into an existing electrical outlet. Follow the included instructions for your model. No gas line work is required for blower installation.
My fireplace blower is making noise. Should I replace it?
A noisy blower usually indicates worn bearings or debris buildup. Try cleaning the fan blades and housing first. If the noise persists, the blower motor is likely failing and should be replaced to prevent further damage.
Does the Buck Stove Model 21 Non-Catalytic Wood Stove turn on and off automatically?
Most Buck Stove blowers include a temperature-sensitive switch that turns the fan on automatically when the fireplace reaches operating temperature and off after it cools down. Some models also have a variable speed control.
